NERINA (RIDGED SHELLS & SPIRALS)
In shelled marine creatures, texture develops as a response to friction. Clams and whelks evolve to form knobs, ridges, and ribs that disperse pressure and stabilize against current and shifting sand. These grooves are not decorative; they are structural adaptations, shaped by contact and environment.
The Nerina Collection gathers these talismans of responsive reinforcement—ridged shells formed through resistance—to remind us that storms do not define us. They reveal what we were born to endure.
