That kind of work stays with you. It makes you look twice at the ordinary. Plus, who can ever say no to a bouquet of sweetgrass roses?
From the artist: Indigo & Iron is Charleston as I remember it. It’s about the details that stick with you: iron gates, roadside boiled peanuts, and the feel of the marsh air. Each piece includes three miniature oil paintings on historic Mobile Bay pottery fragments, hand-collected along the Eastern Shore and displayed in brass and glass shadow box.
